María Claudia Faverio


Tengo la suerte de ser amigo de María Claudia Faverio. Amigo por internet, para dejarlo más claro. María Claudia aprendió español en la Universidad, en donde publicó su tesis final sobre Borges, y en Ecuador. En la actualidad vive en Australia.
Habla perfectamente italiano, alemán, español, inglés y francés.
Pinta, escribe poesías, hace puzzles, y creo que unas cuantas cosas más. Estudia también música.
Todo lo que hace es de gran perfección técnica y sugieren una gran amabilidad personal. Contemplar sus cuadros me relaja, al tiempo que me producen un gran gozo estético. Sus poesías, que es una pena que sean en inglés, desatan la imaginación.

Night delirium es una de sus poesías:

Clouds, not the ordinary moon,
manifest and lonely
in the dense scopes of dark,
clouds accompany the polymathic delirium
of this night.

Aggravated by the black vacuum
of the sky,
pallid perceptions of distances
crumble to blindness
like a tired eye,
and madness of colours
effaces itself
in the intricate evasions
of imagination.

The untuned reticences
of desire
transfix the ego
like a fake light,
enhancing its delirium,
while palaver of lips
discovers the sacred spaces
of silence.

Cautiously,
like old tune or voice,
the black load of fear
becomes tangible
in the capricious colours
of morning,
in the Phoenician sky
spreading over a reality
uncertain as faith.

There is a sense of panic
in the renewal of life.
The outrage of the years
is a swan song,
a remote surprise

Desde luego, parece una mujer polifacética. El cuadro es precioso, parece una foto. En ese poema, cuántas personas no nos hemos visto reflejadas.
